Some photos may be very “beautiful,” yet evoke no emotion. Because that’s not the photographer’s true “eye.” It’s an angle they think others will like. I fall into this trap sometimes. I realize it later when I look at the picture and say, “This is not my eye.”

I always tell beginners: “Always be yourself; shoot as you feel. If there’s any ‘right way,’ that’s it!”
