/ Working Children
One day, I saw a young boy who weighed people with a scale for money. Exhausted, he had fallen asleep right there on the pavement. He used his scale as a pillow and was sucking his thumb. I asked myself what I could do for this child. And then I thought that I can show this. Yes, sometimes we feel powerless, but I thought my strength was my camera. Maybe when you pass by, the child isn’t there—but he was there when I passed, and I documented it. It can’t be unseen now.
